SIX days to go...

Yesterdays ATI test went fine. Of course I didn't pass, but I didn't care as long as I got my 3 pts, (3%%) which I did. I've never passed an ATI, except for the Obs/Peds one. But luckily, they are a VERY small part of grade. Since I got my 3%, I only need 15% which is 60% (are these #'s confusing you??) for my Final to pass my LAST semester in nursing school, WHOOO HOOO! I do believe I can get a 60% on my Final, don't you? Sunday is our last clinical, but it's only a half day, then we go out and celebrate, yay! So, I'm telling you, I am finding it VERY difficult to stay focused right now. (See...I'm like Barbie, I just wanna go a little wild..)
I want to go into goof off mode. BUT I MUSTN'T MUST I??? Nay, I say! So, today, I am trying to batten down the hatches,
and all that....ummm.... after I blog.
I have been goofing off last night and this morning, so I really must get going to hit those stupid books. Okay, I mean it, I'm getting off this silly computer, bye. Hope your last weeks are going well.

Yahoo! So awesome! Ummm, what will you blog about when you're done with school? I love following your ups and downs and even feel a little anxiety right there with you when "we" are waiting for test scores, etc. =)

Of course you will do it!!!!! Good vibes coming your way all the way from VA for a passing score on your finals! You're so lucky you don't have to pass the ATIs! We do or we remediate. If we fail and it's not by much all you have to do is remediate and then you get your pass. If it's by alot you remediate, and retake...It sucks because it's a lot of extra dadded presure none of us need!

Hey Katie...Thanks Katie for caring! I live through baby times with you, I LOVE hearing all about it. I can't wait to be have grandbabies! (Not for 5 or so years mind you!) I will probably chat about new recipes..that's what i blog about during off times. Or probably the great job hunt!
Kirsten...we have to remediate too, but it's no sweat. We do it at home on our own computer. After taking it once, you kinda remember the answers. Although...my teacher was talking to me yesterday about dropping the remediation for 4th semester. He says..."we don't remediate for other exams, why should we for ATI?" I like his thinking! It's only 5% of our grade, so it's more practice than anything. Not too stressful.
Lori: thanks, can't wait!!

I can't evan imagine your exitement! Makes it really hard to study. Good luck on your last couple days and definitely keep us in the loop as you're preparing for NCLEX:)

Tif- you know, crazy as it seems, I really like med/surg. I mean I get totally stressed about time management, but I LOVE the variety of it. That you are constantly doing something new. Right now, it's a big ole' play ground. Scary, hah? Later, I want to go into Neuro ICU. Some start there, but I really want to get a firm foundation and know what the heck I'm doing before I head there. How 'bout you??
