Four preceptor days to go...

Yesterday started out well, but half way through everything got crazy, and it seems I kept forgetting things, going back later, just getting more and more and more behind. By the end of the day, I felt like a total failure. Ugh, I hope my next 4 goes better. So I put up a lil' cartoon to make me cheer up.

But each thing you go "Oh!" on, is a learning experience! It's process.

After 12 years of being a nurse I still have days like that sometimes!! Hang in there and the 4 days will be over before you know it!!

Hi! I just reached your blog from another blog. I have found two so far where the blogger has things in common with me. (Teenagers, Scrapping, student nurse (soon to be for me), etc.

I thought I would leave a post to say hello and introduce myself in case there are other things we have in common from your future posts.

Good luck with your nursing career :)

Boy, I have a feeling every nursing student will go though this during preceptorship. This is the first real time nursing for a average patient/nurse ratio and for a 8 or 12 hour day. I know I'll feel the same way. Good luck, I hope your back is feeling better, and only 4 days, yea!!!

Hang in there... we all know you can do it! And, like Laurel said (hi laurel), those are all learning experiences that will help you and make you abetter nurse in the long run!
